League of Legends is an multiplayer online battle arena, also referred to as MOBA. It’s one of the most famous games of all time and one of the biggest esports at the moment. Ten players are divided into two teams of five in a regular league game and fight it out on a map called Summoner’s Rift and A single character, known as a champion, is controlled by any of these players.
Inside the League of Legends, there are currently over 140 Champions with their own advantages and disadvantages, no matter how you’d like to play the game, there is a champion that suits the way you like to play. Inside the League of Legends, nearly every legendary group is present and their champion has their own identity, their own relationships, their own ambitions, their own motives and their own story.
Every champion has special abilities and powers with unique playstyles. Each team takes turns picking champions before a game starts at champ pick and as you collaborate with your team to build teams with champions that fit together well, there are several techniques involved. Every game you play can be vastly different since every champion has their own feel and gameplan.
LOL Summoner’s Spells
Any summoner must also select two summoner spells for their champion, beyond their QWER skills. With their own objectives and cooldowns, Summoner spells serve as two additional abilities. They provide versatility to help you respond to the range of the champ and encourage you to play your favorite playstyle. You will unlock them progressively over time when you first start playing.
Based on your own interests, League of Legends is all about finding the right way for you to play. on top of summoner spells, runes offer another way for you to tune your champion to either boost their abilities or help keep their vulnerabilities in place. They’re over 60 runes in the game and each player gets to choose six of them for their champion before the game starts.
While a champion is in the game they will accrue gold. When a champion returns to the base they can use their gold to buy items. There are well over a hundred items in the game that range in cost from a few hundred gold to a few thousand gold, in general, less expensive items are used as components to make more expensive items.
Items provide a champion with extra stats, make their attacks and spells cause more damage, improve their resistance health, and provide the champion or their allies with other useful bonuses.
LOL Summoners Rift
The League of Legend’s biggest and most famous map is Summoner’s Rift. In the lower left-hand corner of the map, one team has a base and one team has a base in the upper right-hand corner of the map. Summoner’s Rift is divided in the middle by a river, cross the river and you’re entering enemy territory. On summoner’s Rift, there are also three lanes and the forested area between the lanes is called the jungle.
The aim of the game is to destroy the core base structure of the opposing side, a huge Crystal known as the Nexus, technically sounds straightforward, but the Nexus is defended by strong towers that must be demolished before the Nexus can be targeted. Each lane is covered for each team by an outer tower, an inner tower, and an inhibitory tower. You must break the outer tower of that lane before you can assault the inner tower and the specified lane.
Minions are autonomous little creatures that spawn from your base in waves every 30 seconds. When spawned minions can charge down a lane and strike the first opponent they encounter, normally opponent minions.
Players can’t control the minions directly. In the game, the minions play an incredibly important role because they not only allow you to safely inflict damage to Towers, but also give you experience and gold when they die. Gain enough experience and your champion can make them more powerful and grant you ability points that allow you to unlock one of your abilities or make one of your abilities more powerful.
Fights in the League of Legends can be incredibly overwhelming when the screen is lit up all at once with too many effects and skills. To make matters worse, each team fight is incredibly unique so it can be very hard to figure out in the moment who is winning. If a team is able to stun or knock down several enemy members, it gives them a major combat advantage as they can strike first and kill an opponent before they can respond.
And there you have it guys! A brief guide for beginners this 2020. I hope that this article helps you a lot. Enjoy!
